It says it has a dog park but I didn't see one. The grass needed mowing but was soft. Also be careful my dog ended up stepping on a couple of spiky grass weeds so I wouldn't walk around bare footed. The pond is very pretty and there was a couple people fishing.
So much has been done at Sunset Pond to make it a really nice place to walk, check out families of geese and other birds. Thimbleberries galore. Wild strawberries. Beautiful irises and a host of other things to notice and admire. Please help keep this park clean and and inviting to all.
It's a park, it has a pond, some ducks, geese, homeless people, junkies and tweakers. really what would you like me to say about it?
I only visited this place for a little while, but I liked how it was a beautiful place, with a neat pond, and a well maintained trails that you can walk on nice, sunny days in Bellingham.
Really like this park. Very nice walking trails. Usually not too many people there. Nice quiet place to walk your dog. Pretty scenery. I will go back there again.
