One of the Best Places to view Beautiful Bellingham, Washington. Situated at one of the central areas of Western Washington University.
Written during Covid-19, so keep that in mind. Very calm and peaceful. Slight breeze off the bay, fountain not running now. A few skateboarders, a few walkers, a few students. Tower clock chimes at the top of each hour. Two sculptures featured on the northeast portion of the square. Walk between the libraries to cross to the Performing Arts Center for a great view of the bay, Bellingham and the islands.
You can always find some sort of activism here. Or at least a way to get involved with campus life.
When not just passing though Red Square on the way to your next class, this red-bricked plaza is a great place to relax, especially on sunny days! At the center of Red Square is Fisher Fountain and the surrounding buildings are Haggard Hall, Wilson Library, the Humanities Building, Fraser Hall, Miller Hall and Bond Hall.
