Hideaway Campground

I’ve been going to this campsite my whole life (I’m 31). In more recent years when I go, there’s usually a few RVs in the RV area and then we have the whole tent area to ourselves. It has been fun to go with a bunch of friends in the past and now I’m looking forward to taking my daughter. There’s an old playground, bathrooms, and pavilion. I love spending time on the rocks across the creek. There’s a sandy area down next to the creek as well. The owner is extremely friendly and kind. Back years ago, they’d have a pig roast a couple times per summer and a ton of people would come those weekends. They even had a band one time I remember. They offered Ice cream treats at the pavilion and hay rides. I don’t know if they still do that anymore. definitely a nice quiet escape.

Stayed here 1 night on our way home to ohio. Hidden gem describes it perfectly. Beautiful little quiet place in the woods. Owner is very nice and beyond reasonable with pricing. Bring a bug zapper your in the woods. Would definitely come back

We love the hideaway! It is owned and operated by an awesome family! They make you feel right at home and could not be any nicer . fishing and relaxation to your hearts content.

We travel a lot going from campgrounds all across the U.S. This was one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at! This campground reminds me of the ones my parents took me to as a kid. Met a family here where the husband came here with his parents as a kid. He made sure to bring his family here to experience and enjoy it as well!nnThere is 50 acres to the property all family owned and run. Super friendly owners and staff!nnThe rates are great. Not packed in like a can of sardines. On the river, short walk from are camp spot! Had nice hot showers. Decent bathrooms. Has a dump station, power, and water. Nonwifi which is a good thing, did not matter had excellent cell service.nnFar enough to get away from it all, but close enough for sight seeing, or other activities if you so choose.nnA true gem hidden away just waiting for you to find it! Personally I hope you do!
