I love this place!!! I have seen poor reviews which makes me sad but I think this place is a fantastic little place. The staff are always so kind and they know which alpaca the wool you buy is from!! I recommend this store to anyone who loves soft cloths or likes to knit. Keep up the good work!!!

The best shop you'll ever find! The loveliest ladies too!

Very disappointed in the staff here. If you do not welcome children in your store during busy Fall Foliage weekends, perhaps you should place a sign stating that at your entrance so parents know! I have never felt so unwelcome by a shop in Bedford as I did here! Your products are soft. Children want to touch....as do adults! But to follow them around and hover over them as if they were shoplifters and telling them not to touch every time their hand went out was insulting....especially when their parents were right there with them! These were not little children...these were girls who are old enough to be appreciative of your products to treat them well and possibly make purchases of their own. I was appalled by the staff's behavior! In your response to this review you never even give a real apology....not only was it rude to treat your customers in this way but I feel your response is also rude....yes, this is how I feel! I have always taken my kids into all the local stores...never once felt unwelcome by any of them. If you do not want chocolate fingers or snotty noses in your store, I again say, put a sign outside stating children under 18 are not welcome!!!

A nice selection of alpaca products, from sweaters and scarves to yarn itself. I had bought socks from the stand in the Strip District in Pittsburgh, but the store has a more varied inventory, including whole winter coats made out of baby alpaca--what luxury! A fluffy white pillow caught my eye, but the $100+ price made me put it back (why are pillows so expensive!), and I moved on to the incredibly snuggly stuffed lion, which I bought as a gift but which I'm having trouble letting go of. I wish that more of the items were from the nearby alpaca farm rather than Peru, but I understand the cost of labor makes that difficult. You can get yarn or roving from the farm's alpacas, as well as dryer balls and some little knit pouches, plus they have a Mennonite woman weave their fiber into small rugs in the style of round/oval rag rugs.

Stopped in here during Christmas time. The kids instantly fell in love with the stuffed animals, and we picked up some gifts for family.
