Our taxes were complicated this year and we wanted to be sure nothing came back to bite us. We called Bellingham CPA and they gave us a price range that we were comfortable with (cost ended up being lower than expected). They were professional, responsive, and competent. I really appreciate their help and I would definitely trust them with my tax returns in the future. Thanks Dan and staff!

I called twice and emailed once to get assistance as a low-income, disabled recipient of VA GI Bill benefits. All public assistance programs are closed due to the pandemic, otherwise I would have taken advantage of these services (AARP, Opportunity Council). I was told they would not even consider helping me because their rates are $200-$400. I was also told they could not recommend any other accountant to help and suggested I just call around.nnI understand that this service has high reviews and a high volume of business. It was my hope that a successful CPA would consider helping a disabled recipient of Veterans Benefits process a basic tax return (complicated only by federal benefits) or at least discuss the possibility of an adjusted rate.nnUnfortunately, I would not recommend this business to anyone who has a disability, fixed income, or receives veteran's benefits.
