The staff is amazing at Giant Eagle. I just wish their prices were a little lower.
Doing great with safety. Had one person dedicated to cleaning off all carts after each use. Everyone had masks on and all markings for distancing was observed. I was very impressed
Got your iced pumpkin and lemon cookies withch I used to love and this time they were very dry tasted a year old they used to be really good
I used to shop at Giant Eagle every week. Now I only shop there when I have no other option. Their strict face mask policy does not follow Pennsylvania suggestions allowing for medical exceptions. Because of medical issues my doctor suggests that I don't wear a mask of any kind. When I have to shop at Giant Eagle I use a motorized cart which is helpful trying to breath with a mask on. Also, the bathroom smells really bad.
I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask and I have a medical exemption from my doctor. I was stopped by a woman at the door who asked me if I had a mask. I calmly explained to her my situation. She proceeded to tell me that she didn’t care that I had a medical condition and no one is allowed in the store without a mask. I told her I still need food and they are discriminating against me because of a medical condition. She said I wasn’t allowed to shop there. I said I will have to go somewhere else and shop to which she replied, “That’s fine”. I have done a lot of shopping there but they have lost my business for good over one rude person and their discriminatory policy.
