Plato's Closet

The best Plato’s in the area! I drive from the city to visit even though there are a couple closer. The gals who work there are so nice, go through clothes at an efficient pace, and are super understanding. 10/10 recommend.

First time visiting Plato’s Closet Monroeville. I went to donate a bag of used clothes. Mind you it was 15 minutes until closing and the girl’s name was Brittany or Britney who was the sales Associate that took me when I came in and was the only one working besides the manager. So I sign in and Brittney/Britany decides to walk over to the computer and I was just curious and asked when will my clothes be checked because I wasn’t sure if they check the clothes right away or later or the next day if it’s close to closing and I pick them up when they are done with the process. So she got an attitude with me with no eye contact saying to me when else would I do them. I told her you don’t have to have an attitude with me and I don’t appreciate you talking to me like that. Then the manager comes to the counter coincidentally after that and obviously I told her what happened as in what the girl said to me after I politely asked her a question. The girl lies to the manager right in front of me after I told the manager what happened and she’s like I never said that and lied some more to the manager saying she said something totally different. At that point I was fed up but the manager was nice and apologized for the horrible customer service Brittany/Britney gave me. I also saw a review from someone saying she also received horrible customer service from the girl and got miserable vibes from her you could say. Anyways I have no plans on ever returning to this plato’s Closet until they hire people who are respectful and gives excellent customer service and get rid of the people who hate their job and really don’t want to work there. I don’t know if they lost past customers but they definitely lost me as a customer. Next time I have to donate clothes either I will go to goodwill or go to the plato’s Closet on McKnight Road. I am really disappointed with the customer service that I received and that’s all I have to say.

This was an amazing find for my teen. She has grown so quickly she needed almost everything. We were able to leave with multiple full outfits, additional jeans and shorts, a dress and a pair of shoes for just over $100! She was in heaven because it was the first store we have gone in to where she LOVED most items she saw.

Friendly staff and great quality clothing. I enjoyed the variety of used active wear and jackets specifically. I would shop here again.
