One of the best decisions I have made was coming to David Alan for my suits. They were professional and insightful during the process, they made the process a custom experience for me. When wearing their work I feel how I want to feel, I won’t be going back to the one size fits most approach of traditional stores. Last Christmas I surprised my wife with a suit from them and I don’t know how I will top that experience this year.

Krista worked in an extremely professional manner - she gave me great style suggestions as I picked from the huge array of fabrics, design details, and styles; she maintained constant contact regarding the status of my order; and she made sure that my clothes were 100% to my liking.nnI placed my first order for several dress shirts last year, and every time I wear one, I get constant compliments on how awesome my shirt is. On a few of them, I chose some contrasting accents to really make them pop, and they sure do!nnI just received my second order for a suit and I can't wait to wear it. David Alan and his team have treated me like family since day 1. Being an amputee, custom clothing Is a necessity, especially suits. I contacted them and within 24 hours they were at my house getting my measurements and helping me pick out a style that went with my personality. Thankful for this company, and grateful they were able to delivery some normalcy in my life since losing both of my legs.

One might call me a custom suit addict. I own 30+ suits. I have had suits made in London, Paris and countless other places around the globe. Never have I had as easy and wonderful an experience as I had with David Alan Clothing. My guy Alvin Hill made everything from selection to sizing a seamless experience. These ratings only allow for 5 stars but DA should get 6. David and Alvin now have a customer for life. I no longer have to work with overseas salesmen and stylists. I can support and work with Pittsburgh's own here on out. I could not be happier with the two suits I had made. God bless the DA team!

The perfect suit, every time.The cut, fabric, pattern, variety of options, all perfect. Even over the miles, Alvin devotes the time and expertise to truly understand your style. He teaches you bits of the art in the process, pulling out the best pieces of you to craft a suit to represent them. Such a rewarding experience.
