Great store. The owner is wonderful!!
I brought a 1940's velvet coat in for hem. I had stepped on it and ruined the bottom. I asked the lady to hem it up as much as she needed to fix it, leaving it as long as possible. This was October. I called a few weeks later and she asked me to come in and try it on. I did, but wondered why I needed to with my request to hem as much as needed to fix, also wondered why I didn't try it on when dropped off. Another month goes by, I drop in, she says she's to busy, she shows me a wedding dress she's working on. Now originally I asked how long, I was told 2 weeks. I wait a another couple weeks this time calling, not done, I tell her I'm out of town for the holidays and will pick up after first of year. At this point I'm understanding and nice. I go in January 12 or so. She says He? A mysterious he, when she had acted like she was the seamstress doing the job? He wants me to try it on. I take my coat and leave. 3 months. Yes, the bottom was stretched out and a few inches needed to be trimmed. I said trim as much as needed.nI will not give them any business and would not recommend them!!!!!!!!!
