This is a fun short and quiet hike. The trail is fairly well marked but steep at the start. The arch itself is fun and interesting but not as spectacular as others in the area. If you're looking for a short, beautiful, and less popular hike this might be the one for you!
Great trail if you're looking for solitude. I saw no one on it though, so you have to pay attention to know where to go. Could be good to get some trail work done to update cairns - the painted trail is especially hard to see with sun glare on the return.
Milt's did not disappoint!! It was a bit of a wait for the food but as you waited you got to see their crew cranking out burgers dogs and shakes working hard to keep the outdoor area clean and stocked.
When you got your food it was cooked for you....not one of those production line burger joints. The gwak burger was awesome and peach shake with bits of real fruit. Fun vibe happening little spot. ...I'll be back ! !
The first 0.25 mile stretch of the trail is a bit of a climb and requires a little technical work, but the rest of the hike is easy, well marked and beautiful!
Awesome hike! Mostly easy walking with a little bit of bouldering. Our daughter is almost 5 and made it all the way up to the arch on her own power. Some deep sand in places, bring good shoes.
