Most of the staff/guides were friendly and helpful. I should have better informed myself of what this activity consisted of before I went. I've been zip lining many places (Mexico, Jamaica, Wisconsin Dells, etc.), and I'm used to either climbing regular stairs or going from zip line to zip line. I really enjoy zip lines, but not so much the obstacle course(s) that are between each zip line... I especially don't care for the ropes, swinging and swaying. (I like something more stationary if I'm to do an obstacle course, like at the Mall of America - cables and firm platforms and such.) It really wore me out, and by the time I got to the zip line(s), it wasn't as much fun. Also ~ I didn't care for the way the zip lines ended ~ I'm used to bumper-like endings, but not where my butt slides through brown mulch or I reach a platform in a tree at the end of my journey, with no one there to help me dismantle. (I'm used to guides helping in this area.) I liked that we were pretty much able to go at our own pace, but by the end of the attraction, no staff were to be seen, so that was nerve wracking. (We were the last tour of the day, but you'd think at least one staff person would stay on the course until everyone was off.) There wasn't anything they really did wrong. It just wasn't my preferred style of ziplining, and now I've learned that there are different kinds.

Wow!! Everyone was so nice at Go Ape. The course is amazing. The obstacle courses in the trees are a fun challenge. This is definitely a fun activity. You can pick an extreme challenge or the easy way at some points. It's a good mix of challenges and zip lining. It's in North Park.nGet the phone cover so you can take pictures.

We had a great time! The first time we went, we weren’t allowed up because there was thunder nearby, and they follow pool rules for safety. They had no problem rescheduling us to another day, and yet again when the weather didn’t look decent and we didn’t feel like driving all the way to have the same thing happen again. When we finally got to go up, we had a great time! There are so many courses and ziplines, and the park that Go Ape is in is very nice to spend the rest of the day. Some of the courses have an easy way or a hard way to choose from. There were kids and older people in our group, so it’s fun for the whole family!

It was as expected... something to do outside...not too scorching hot in the summer, as you're mostly under shade/canopy.nMore of a climbing course with some zip lines... but that was pretty clear going in.nThe staff was great.nShuffled younger folks to the front of the group and let family groups bring up the rear... which made total sense... so everyone is at their own pace and nobody is bottlenecked.nStart to finish, 1.5 hours for two young adults.nA family with some children, definitely could take 2.5-3 hours.
