Given I live fairly close to this one, it is the one I go to the most. The staff is very polite for the most part. There are a few that give off a vibe of they don't want to be bothered. They are very strict on their Covid-19 protocol and rules. They are constantly sanitizing their carts and any surface possible. They have a security guard at the doors to enforce the mask rule. Overall a very good experience every time I go there.

The Penn Hills Giant Eagle is generally a good store. The staff does their job and is pleasant and helpful. However, if you want to avoid rude customers, try to shop early in the morning or at night.

Ya gotta love Giant Eagle. My two favorite reasons are the friend chicken and the discount on fuel.nnPlus they have everything I need and my pharmacy. And they gave a lot.of money to local Pittsburgh food Bank during the pandemic so they got great community spirit

such as easy if time and money everything is over priced .I call this the nobody storennobody's going to wipe nothing nobody there is you need to find something Nobody Says Hello Nobody have gloves Nobody sanitize Nothing All the meat is double priced in a area that's low income And security oh my my she's a cop who just sits in or by her car or standing @ the door gossip and Newport And she's Secure (smh)

This Giant Eagle is well stocked in most food and home goods you may need on a routine trip to the grocery store. Occasionally there will be specific items that I cannot find, are in limited supply, or are out of stock (usually qualifying under “health foods” or “international foods”). Otherwise, the store is smaller than a typical Giant Eagle and is more organized, cleaner, and easier to navigate. On trips I can get in and out with minimal interactions and using a self-checkout, I give this store 4-stars.nnI have had mixed experiences with the service staff at the bakery, deli, and checkouts. On a more recent visit, one of the Deli employees didn’t acknowledge me, though she took other customers behind me in line. Not sure what it was about, but after the other gentleman working the counter finished with the lady in front of me, he happily got me everything I needed.nnLong story short: If I can get in and out without having to gamble with the employee interactions, I usually enjoy my shopping experience here.
