Shop 'N Save

Shop and Save is my favorite store. Employees are always kind and helpful.nToday I shopped for my brother in law who is not well.nHis debit card would not work, after trying everything the manager of the bakery said I have this! She used her card and paid $40. fornBob Weber’s groceries. I said no I can use my card but she insisted on paying. I offered to pay her but she said no!nWhee else would someone care so much.nWhen I took the groceries I told Bob what happened and he said that’s hard to believe.nPlease let her know I appreciate what she did.nGod bless this sweet person, Nola Weber

Prices are rather high. The cashiers/baggers are almost always thoroughly disinterested teenagers who are either talking to each other or on their phones while checking you out. We only really go here for urgent grocery needs.

Poor customer service. You must check dates if not don't be surprised if you get something that's spoiled. In my opinion is recommend you go to Wal-Mart or giant eagle. The safran family doesn't care about the customer at all

Never super crowded, and they have a decent, random selection of vegetarian/vegan items. They have Beyond burgers and one or two other similar fresh meat-free options. They also have a small but varied gluten-free section as well.

My husband and I had to stop to get a few essentials for the week and have always visited this local shop n save since it’s the closest to our house. Today we went into the store and was instructed that both my husband and I each had to have a cart prior to entering. I explained to the lady that we didn’t need a cart since we only needed a few items that were easily able to be carried between the two of us. In addition, I tried to explain that we wanted to limit the things that we touched if it wasn’t necessary. She continued to insist that my husband and I each must have a cart. So to comply, we each grabbed a cart. Still confused by my interaction with her, within minutes of being in the store and having only two or three things in my husbands cart and nothing in my cart, I left my cart to the side. Upon leaving the store, the same brown, curly-haired women pointed out that I was missing my cart. I proceeded to tell her that I left my cart inside because I didn’t want to touch things unnecessarily. She then, in a rather frightening tone, stated to me that it was against that law that I do not push a cart throughout the store. At this point, me being very confused, I told her that it was not and that they cannot force me to walk around with a cart.. and then I proceeded to leave.nnI hope in the future your employees will be more educated on current laws and, when appropriate, learn how to enforce them in a respectful way.
