ACCOUNT HIJACKED by a friendly hijacker (09/23/2020)

Better than expected. Offer convenient Senior Hours of 7 AM - 8 AM. There are lots of older shoppers in the morning. Food selections is excellent but short on organic foodstuff. Everyone there being so friendly and polite all the tone more than made up for this, so I gave this location a total of 5 stars!

I love going to this supermarket. They have everything and more. They have an excellent deli, prepared food section, a butcher behind a counter so you can select your own meats or poultry. It definitely is big & can be a bit confusing if you don't go there all the time, but it's worth making a trip every so often when I'm near that area. They always have shelves stocked unlike my regular Giant Eagle.

This Giant Eagle was well organized, labeled well, and clean. It is a huge grocery store so these features are essential. Due to the size, I think you could find anything food item you need. My only complaint was the long lines. I was there on a Saturday night, and yet I still waited longer than usual in a self register aisle. They had plenty of self serve registers which were all closed. I assume this was due to the amount of help either on schedule or available. Either way, I felt bad for the busy staff. I will go back for the merchandise, but I will anticipate long lines.

Good selection but it's always crazy busy and the lanes are so packed with merchandise you can barely move. Cashier I had today (Sandy) was very friendly but the clientele in this store is generally not friendly and quite uppity. I was in the area and only needed a couple things, otherwise I wouldn't shop there.

They pretty much have all the groceries here. Kind of limited selection of exotic and foreign food, not much esoterica to be found. The seafood and butcher departments are quality, while the deli is on par with what one would find elsewhere. The prices could use some work.
