HIGHLY recommend! This is the best local Chinese we have had in a while. Everything was fresh, tasty and the portions were significant. We will definitely be ordering from here more often!
This place consistently knocks it out of the park with their Food. I just get the general tso chicken. But it is the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly selected and cooked chicken pieces with such a great sauce. It’s all good.
Sunday night just rolled into town to check out the sights. Parked up on Mt. Washington and walked around. Took the funicular down to waterfront. It was under construction so with the C-Pan19 was difficult to find a cool place. So went back up and walked down Shiloh Street. Maybe 8:30PM walked into Sesame Garden and Martin (owner?) was pleasant and said they'd seat us or deliver. We decided to go back to RV parked overlooking Pittsburgh and order. Waited til 8:55 yikes but Martin agreed to make one last delivery. He showed up and the order was piping hot and accurate. He declined the heavy tip I insisted on. Anyway, we had the hot and sour soup, sesame chicken and the fried rice chicken. We are foodies who own a couple of restaurants, so we understand the importance of good reviews. I have written maybe 3 reviews in 5 years, so that should be noted! We were absolutely blown away with the quality, taste and quantity of the food delivered. I'd give Sesame Garden and Martin 10 stars if I could! I may just drive 100 miles out of my way to get some more SG!!
Between 3 and 4 stars. Service was great. High quality ingredients for our entrees. A touch over seasoned for our liking which brought the rating down a half star.
