Cool original feature of s park. Once reclaimed by nature, it's now being restored by volunteers. If you like exploring/hiking in the park check it out, you won't be disapointed

Designed in the Prairie Style by architect Paul Riis (who designed several other water features throughout the park) during the late 1920s, this series of shallow pools was a place where park goers could play while relaxing nearby. It was recently rediscovered and cleaned up by several volunteers and while there are no plans to restore this location, it is a very intriguing place to visit.
