Sophie's Lanes

Best place to bowl with small groups.

I love the lanes. Fast return, good pin action. I'd give the actual lanes 5 stars, however the parking lot is tight and dark at night. It's great for bowling. But there's no frills like food service or drink service.

We attended a birthday party here and the kids had a blast. The owner was great and so accommodating.

The service is really friendly. It is one of the more smaller bowling places, yet the simplicity has a chilled feeling. They allow you to bring your own food/drinks which is great. The only other downfall is that there is a small parking lot and it can be packed at night since the bar is right next door. Overall though, good place to hang out at.

This is a hidden gem in Penn Hills. It a very clean and appealing place to bowl. The owner was very kind to open the lanes on his day off for my grandson's birthday party. We all had a great time. Plenty of parking. Reasonable pricing. You will have to look carefully for the place as it is tucked in the left corner of the strip mall in which it is located, and signage isn't great. Still, I highly recommend Sophie's Lanes.
