Look no further for a gown! Skye Douglass and her bridal salon, House of Couture Designs in Sewickley is the perfect place for the perfect experience. Whether you are shopping for a bridal gown or event-wear, this is the best place in Pittsburgh. I have been to many shops, and this one is my favorite. I found the perfect wedding gown here. I also found my shoes, veil, and hair piece here. My mother-in-law also found her gown here and loved the experience! Skye takes care of all alterations as well, and they’re perfect. She offers so many modern styles and will help you find the perfect fitting gown. She listens to what you want and will also give you her honest opinion. Skye has been in business for 30 years, and is very well-known and experienced in this industry. She is a superstar, and a beautiful person inside and out! I will always look back fondly and recall ALL that she did prior to, AND on my wedding day to help me look my best! I think that am rather discerning, and I can hardly wait to have another event to shop for, at House of Couture Designs! I am so proud to call her my friend, we bonded during the wonderful experience! Definitely make an appointment to shop for your next gown!

Skye is amazing! Her shop is absolutely beautiful her talent is off the charts and her selection of dresses is fantastic. If you need a dress for wedding, bridal party, mother of the bride or any occasion this must be your first and only stop!!!

Skye is absolutely amazing. I had bought my dress before I had the chance to go look at dresses in her store, but I had heard so many amazing things about her that I knew I had to have her do my alterations. When I went to see her, we immediately became friends. She makes you feel so comfortable and gives your honest opinions and advice. She helped me match accessories with my look including a head piece that I had seen previously that I started to describe and she knew exactly what I was talking about and pulled for me to try. She also reconstructed my mother's veil for me to wear for my wedding! The shop is so beautiful, you want everything in there! I even ended up trying on and buying a second dress (that Skye designed herself!) I honestly did not think that alterations would have such an impact on the month leading up to my wedding, but Skye was there every step of the way, I couldn't wait for each appointment to go see her. She is THE BEST in the biz!

Skye is so much fun to work with and a total master at her craft! My fiancé and I had the BEST time during our dress fittings with her, and we are so happy with how our alterations turned out. She was super accommodating and made us feel special throughout the entire process. If you want someone who will make you look your absolute best in your dress, Skye is your girl!
