A rainy Thursday night in early October kept everyone away except my husband and I. Father Fred was our guide and the tour was extraordinary! He told us history of the war along with explanations of hauntings and why they happen, along with information about what qualifies as a haunting. Our only complaint is that we had to get back so he could do the 9:00 tour. If we had booked that tour we would want to talk with him late into the night. Thank you Father Fred. This tour was a highlight of our vacation. I have photos of orbs!
We very much enjoyed this tour! We had a great tour guide, and she shared a lot of personal ghost encounters as well as including a lot of historical facts about Gettysburg. Would go to this again!
Everything Under One Roof three floors a very interesting souvenirs books goes towards I must stop when you're in Gettysburg
Really disappointed. We stood outside in the rain and walked in a small circle. We stopped in a coffee shop parking lot, the backyard of rental rooms with real people in the house eating dinner, across the street from Jenny's house and in the conoco driveway. It wasn't at all like described on the website. Between the rain and people talking and cars passing by I could not hear the tour guide and then he cut the tour 10 minutes short so he could get to supposed ghost hunt. I should have came during the day and walked the downtown area and cemeteries on my own.
I think I was expecting a bit more. I wanted to be scared. The guide was very informative and he talked to us and asked us questions as well. I was very impressed with the guide when it started to downpour rain. He didn't flinch. He put a plastic cap over his hat to protect it and he continued talking. That was amazing! I wouldn't necessarily recommend the tour but if someone I know wanted to go on it I would hope they'd get the guide that we had.
