Virginia Monument

I love this monument, as do many. The parking here is always a little crowded, but there is a path that leads further down to more markers. Another great place to get out and enjoy the small walk and views.

When I was a child my family took a lot of road trips. My parents made it a point to stop at nearly all national parks, monuments and historical sites. I absolutely loved the experience and seeing all the history of our country.
