This place is daunting upon first entrance simply because there is no other place like it. The service was fantastic, they helped size me, showed me a variety of hats in the style I was looking for, and they even gave me a discount even thought the discount had expired the day before (they had left the sign up by accident but were nice enough to give it to me anyway). All in all I had a great experience and was able to get an amazing hat. That being said, just know when you walk in you should expect to pay $50 minimum and realistically upwards of $100, however, for the aesthetic quality of an actual hat shop I think it was well worth it.
If you want the best customer service and a great hat to boot. This is the place. Fran and Billy were very nice and made us feel like valued customers. Billy fitted my kepi then added my 2nd great grandfathers regimental letter and company number. A very personal moment for me. I was more than proud to wear my kepi the rest of my visit to Gettysburg and will be wearing it proudly on my return visit.
Historically accurate, well made hats. Worth every penny!!!
Great place and the owners know and appreciate their history
Just received my Appomattox hat in black and it well exceeds expectations. Fit and finish are excellent and delivery was prompt. The people I spoke to when I placed my order were courteous and professional. I plan on placing more orders with this company
