I went, great cut and when I called to reschedule another time (3 messages in 2 weeks with my phone and name) they never called back. Flakey.
Jaclyn Raen Salon is a fantastic local business. Jackie is a skilled stylist and has a gifted ability to revitalize damaged hair. Jackie cares about her customers and cares about their needs. She cares about her community and spends time handing out donated items to the homeless, adopting animals in need and raising her children. Her salon is clean, quiet and smells delicious since she shares a wall with Zoe's Juice Bar. I recommend checking it out and booking a session with Jackie.
Best salon in Olympia!!! I would highly recommend it. I am a regular salon goer and have to say this is my favorite. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. The owner, Jackie, knows how to bring my vision to fruition. She is compassionate, kind and extremely talented at what she does.
Jackie has come to my rescue more than once. I “strayed” and went to another salon and called her in a panic because the cut and color from the other salon was awful! I have grown to expect impeccable service and Jackie never lets me down!nI noticed the comment about her recent video...homelessness is, no doubt, a problem all over the nation. Jackie spent a better part of last year collecting items from local businesses, including our office, to make up kits to help people living on the streets. She spent her spare time handing out these kits and did it because of her warm heart and because she has compassion for those in need.nIf you watched her video, you would take home the message that these tent cities have popped up over the course of a couple of months in Olympia. This is about awareness. About our city becoming an unsafe place to be. In broad daylight. A place I wouldn’t have given a second thought to bring my children for a walk is now a place that we feel reluctant to do so. Nobody has a clear solution but if we don’t begin by actually recognizing, then how can we begin to rehabilitate and make Olympia a safe place to be? I’m not sure what the percentage of those who live on the streets that have drug problems is, but I’m guessing it is quite high. Just a guess.
I’ve been getting my hair done at Jaclyn Raen Salon for years and I LOVE IT! The owner and stylists are AMAZING, the salon is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is always fun and friendly. I get asked all the time who does my hair which says a lot by itself, I recommend this place to everyone!! ❤ufe0f
