Best pupusas in Louisville. Very homemade everything. You get a LOT for your money. Call ahead if you can.
The Pupusas here are amazing. I have read the reviews wondering why the truck has a lower rating. The truck is run by an ald woman by herself who doesn't speak good english. So, yes her communication and people skills are not the best and it can be frustrating. She makes everything from scratch so it takes a while for your order to be made. She rushes to take orders for this same reason. I have come to this place over and over and it is well worth it. And I come for the food, not for conversatiom or to make friends. She will close early when she runs out of food for the day...understandable since everything is FRESH. Call ahead of time to avoid waiting or finding the place closed.
The pupusas here are delicious and affordable. It is cash only and wise to call ahead. One woman runs this stand, making everything to order, by herself. At fastest, it is 15-20 minutes, if you try to order in the middle of the typical lunch hours, expect 45 minutes to an hour. Keep in mind, this is a one woman show making you a delicious and affordable lunch. She is not the friendliest, but I'm not going for an experience, I go for a great and affordable lunch.
The owner was very rude. I walked up to the counter and before I could speak she rudely says “ please order and do so quickly..” mind you, there were no other people in line... I was shocked and walked away without placing an order. I will not be returning.
Excellent freshly made pupusas. Large variety made to order served with slaw and salsa. It's essentially a food truck parked in a fixed location. Expect to wait 15-20 while your pupusas are prepared.
