We ordered a lunch special sesame chicken and an order of chicken wings. They were fantastic! I moved here recently from NY and found that none of the places nearby taste like the places back east. This is the closest I’ve found to those flavors so far. I will be going back to try more menu items! Their menu states that they have gluten free options too but I didn’t get a chance to try them out.

I’m excited about this place! The fried chicken cilantro dumplings were so delicious. Better fried rice (more tender and flavorful) than my other favorite Chinese restaurants around here. I would love more environmentally-friendly packaging, but they meet the standard. I will be back frequently!

Shifu express was ok. The food was decent but didn't blow my mind. Other reviewers seemed to like it much more. Also had a weird interaction where they forgot to charge me for part of my order. We ordered, paid and then went to wait in the car for our order to be made. Upon returning to pick up our food they informed me that they forgot to charge for something on the ticket. So I paid for the last thing and went on my way. Comping that $6 item could have been an easy way to create appreciative fans but instead left me with a weird feeling about the place. Overall I hope they improve the customer experience, the food and are successful.

I am an avid lover of Chinese food but have not found any great Chinese locations in the Lafayette area until now. I’m so glad we decided to give this place a try. Last night we ordered a hot and sour soup along with chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice and we were not disappointed. Everything tasted great and the portion sizes and prices were amazing. We loved it so much that we decided to go back again today and tried the steam table service meals, we tried the broccoli and chicken and the orange chicken and were so pleased with our lunches. The orange chicken has a great breading and isn’t overwhelming and the sauce is delicious. The chicken and broccoli had a great ratio of chicken and veggies which I have found to be a problem with other places near us. I’m glad this place has come to Lafayette!

If you’re looking for good, fast Chinese food you won’t be disappointed. We wanted something tasty and comfy and this was great!nnKung Pao Chicken and Beef Black pepper were our favorites! We will be back!
