Today I went in for my flu shot. Something I have routinely done at this location over several years.. actually since it was built. I am a senior and was anxious to get my shot. There was one person ahead of me in line. When I got to the window I was told I needed to go online to schedule something...There would be at least a 2 hour wait.... even though no one else was there. There is no online sign up I am aware of. Frustrated I went to the Walgreens in Firestone. They were equally busy as Erie... within 15 minutes I had filled out the paperwork and received my shot. Erie pharmacy has been going downhill for some time...

I see reviews about the staff not being friendly or having interpersonal skills. I think it might be the customer(s). I’ve always had great interactions with the staff - past and present employees; register and pharmacy staff. They are friendly. They joke around when they see you’re game. They even laugh at my lame jokes. I think this store is great, and I am a regular customer. And I rarely take the time to give any reviews - especially good ones. But I saw these negative ones that I think are unjustified so I had to give my $.02.

I'm a type one diabetic and the fact that no one in the pharmacy sees the urgency in getting my insulin is infuriating. I have tried having walgreens transfer my prescriptions to a closer pharmacy but they won't even pick up the phone!!!!! I could go into a coma at any given time without my meds but no one is moving with any sense of urgency!!! What is this bs

I read some of the other reviews and was surprised by the “rude” comments. I definitely have never had anyone be rude to me in this store- not photo or pharmacy either.nnI visit this store about once a week and babe had mostly great customer service- from going above and beyond in helping me find products to lots of smiles at check out. They also are kind to my children who visit regularly for gum and ice cream and snacks.nnGood luck!

Worst Walgreens you can ever find. They had me go there for 3 times for an order of mix tiles and the lady at the photo center was so rude she couldn’t care less about customer service. Don’t order any pictures or something because as they say themselves there is no one there who know how to do it!
