I should start off saying that Jillian was very nice and patient with me. I don't know a darn thing about wedding dresses and she was responsive. HOWEVER, I have to say that the services I received were less than what I expected as I trusted her professional judgement to do the job correctly without having specific details from me. She had my dress for over 2 months and when I walked out I still felt that the dress did not fit or was what I had imagined.nI'll admit, I lost 5 pounds from when I bought the dress to when she had it, but she was persistent about using other means to fit the dress beyond taking material out. It's a strapless, so the fit had better work or else you're constantly pulling it up, and that's exactly what I was doing at the end of our sessions. She told me she could take it in closer to time of the wedding (2 months away), but I was anxious after all that time of her having it and felt that the dress made me look worse than ever. A terrible feeling about your own wedding gown.nI ended up taking it somewhere else and they had to redo almost everything Occasions had done. For starters, the hem, the bustle, the belt (it was crooked after replacing it twice here), the cup replacement and movement, adding boning structure, and finally taking in the waist. I paid a lot of money for this dress, only to pay to have it altered twice!nI will say that Jillian gave me half of what I paid for her services, but getting it done correctly would have been worth the money I spent overall.
