These girls are so sweet. They checked my items right before closing time (which I know is a hassle). They were extremely pleasant. Would totally recommend bringing in your items to this specific platos closet!
I get that there is supply and demand, but it's hard not to feel exploited when a $120 pair of shoes, $80 shirt, and $100 pants (all new and unworn) gets you a TOTAL of $13.50... and judging from the prices in the store (which aren't bad, mind you), they're going to get marked up about 1200%.nnStaff was nice though.
Went in to sell, had an entire basket of barely worn Nike, Adidas, and other name brand items. They told me it would be around twenty minutes and they would text me when they were done. Not even thirty seconds later I got a text saying they passed on all of my items. Every single one of them. Why advertise that you recycle clothing if you never take anyone’s good clothes and only take peoples nasty PINK shirts from 2002. Every time I try to sell to Plato’s Closet it’s a bust. Better off throwing my clothes in a landfill I guess.
Poor selection of on trend clothing. Not very friendly either.nThe employees didn’t even look through the stuff I brought in, half of which had tags on them.nTook the same exact stuff to My Best Friend’s closet and got over $150!nDon’t waste your time!nnUPDATE: The name in your system would be under Amanda Anderson; I came in on Tuesday. I love their prices doing get me wrong however, I been there three times and I watched other people get good money and I follow all guidelines and I have not made a penny from them
