The store is fine overall, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I did a bit of shopping and it was about 1:30pm and was hoping they would have a ready made sandwich as I was getting hungry. They didn't have any ready made vegetarian sandwiches, but I was excited to see they offer made to order sandwiches on a big sign by the deli, and they had a vegetarian option. When I told the woman that I wanted a veggie sandwich, she told me it would take about ten minutes to bring all the stuff out. I replied, Oh, I'm sorry; have you put everything away already because you're closing up? She said, 'No, nobody really orders the veggie sandwich.' I thought it seemed strange, but I said, That's ok, I'll go somewhere else. Then she said, Are you sure? [in that sickly sweet tone I think we're all familiar with] I said, Yes, I'm sure. After I purchased my items , got in my car and was driving away- it suddenly dawned on me.nNOBODY ORDERS ANY VEGETABLES ON THEIR SANDWICHES? NO LETTUCE, ONION, TOMATO, SPINACH?! JUST CHEESE AND MEAT AND MAYBE A SAUCE OR TWO??!!! REALLY?!!! I wish I would have thought of that when I was at the counter. It is unbelievable how lazy and inconsiderate some people are. These type of people should not be serving the public. Manager, choose your people who need to serve wisely. PLEASE

Good grocer that has the things you need, though it's not your typical brands.nFruit and vegetables are fresh and good quality, and they have a wonderful dried/bulk section (the coffees are outstanding).nWe've been many times, and if course we'll be back.nWhy four stars? Some of the folks that work there are downright odd, to the point that it makes us a bit uncomfortable (not that we're the Joneses). You know how you sometimes get that Spidey sense where your hair kinda stands up on end? Yeah, that. Maybe it's the florescent lights on the fruit...but maybe not.

They usually have nice large avocados. There produce is MIXED, not organic,, organic, & local? They also carry some great fruits, who doesn't get board with just apples, oranges, etc. Try their large gooseberries, meyers lemons & the carry Dave's pasta sauce that is made with heirloom tomatoes & spices-about 35 calories a serving. If you want an item, often they will order it for you if they have a source. Trick for handicapped people their carts are near the door north of the other door I typically entered. So go in the exit door to get a cart to shop!

This store is really good at cleaning and keeping things neat. Went in today and they were very courteous, that is until we went to check out. The woman we checked out with was extremely rude, ordered my husband around, and then got visibly and verbally irritated when we paid with the only cash we had (because we were told at the door that the card readers were down). Ive never had a bad experience like that in that store so I hope its not a usual occurrence.
