This place is a GEM!!! With complete transparency, I lived in California and planned my entire move to Colorado just to be able to train at Genesis Training Academy (GTA).nnWhether you're a beginner looking to learn applicable self-defense skills or an aspiring fighter training to make it in the amateur/pro scene, this is the gym for you. I know, I know. There are a lot of other gyms in the area touting qualified instructors, pro fight teams, and beginner-friendly classes...so what sets GTA apart from all those other gyms? The difference is in the personal care provided by each and every instructor. It's become a very sad norm for many gyms to host classes with the sole intent of funding the training of their more elite fighters. At GTA, Jake and Luke go above and beyond for their students. They work with you on a personal level to make sure your technique is flawless and you reach the level of martial prowess you set out to achieve!nnThis dedication to your success isn't limited to just during class schedules either. Unlike most gyms that offer you only an hour of open gym time for you to practice outside of class, GTA offers an insane 5 hours of open gym time so that you can hit the bags, work on technical skills, and receive help from more experienced fighters/instructors. They have this gym time because they don't just want you to be a student paying membership fees...when you join GTA; you are becoming part of a second family. They care about you and your success both inside and outside of the gym. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and make the jump.

Amanda Ramos the owner has an outstanding balance with jeffco school district for running a wrestling club. The never paid and the high school had to use money in their budget to pay the bill. Therefore they were unable to travel for the out of state tournament they usually go to. Shady people here don't do business with this place!
