Love the coffee here! The actual coffee is so good that they don't have to cover it up in half a cup of syrup like some other places...nFor real though, great coffee, perfectly sweetened mochas and flavored lattes. Had a great scone here the other day as well. Hoping to try their ice cream soon!
this place is so awesome! Not only do they roast their own beans on site they make their own ice cream recipes like vanilla Rose, lemon poppy seed and licorice with small containers to go. Today I had a chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream bar and it was awesome! There are some baked goods that look delicious. they feature outdoor seating and it's all very clean and new.
Red Silo has become my go to place to buy coffee beans. I've tried a number of their in-house roasts, and all have been excellent.
Our barista was extremely friendly (did not catch his name), helpful, and went beyond my expectations with customer service. Ice cream was great, had one of the best chemex brews in a long time, and the beans offered for immediate purchase were all roasted within two weeks - plenty of time to take them home and enjoy at best flavor. Loved it and wish I lived nearby instead of the opposite end of the country.
Moved here from the East Coast where we had fresh roasted daily coffee. It took a while to find Red Silo. It was that giant sign on Indiana that suddenly caught my eye. After being disappointed in other roasters -- including that famous one in Boulder! -- we are really delighted with Red Silo. Keep it coming, Red Silo!
