I ended up spending two hours here waiting on the specialist to call a Wells Fargo department. Cara Catbagan and Laurie kept me entertained and made every minute I waited a fun one. We ended up coloring pictures with crayons and I colored a Kangaroo. To them, it may have just been doing their job, but for me, it was employees going above and beyond. So thank you very much!

I came into the Golden branch on a Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. The bank did not seem busy. A few tellers were working and one employee made eye contact with me and asked me to sit on the couches in the back so a banker would assist me. A few minutes later she came back and started talking to another man who who came in looking for an ATM inside the bank? Then another guy looking for an Atm? I interrupted and stated I was there first and was trying to meet with a banker. the woman said it would be over an hour wait. I wanted to open up a secured credit card. I've been a customer the past 8 years. I thought it would be better to go and ask a few questions at the branch although, I knew I could do this on the phone. I was frustrated with the service and the other employees in golden so I just went out to my car and opened up the account over the phone with one of your representatives it was much easier and I had this completed before I left the bank. I drive about 40 miles to the closest branch and have to go 2 hours into Denver now to do anything!!

They only had 1 teller working on the first week of the month. The line was backed up, while what looked like the manager was standing around doing nothing. Any good manager knows to step in and help if things get backed up. The teller did her job well. Management on the other had is terrible at their job.

Everything was GREAT till this branch got a new manager. I'm a client there since 2016 and I always loved to go there AND I always left with a big smile as every single banker was just so nice, helpful, and motivated. Now, they got a new manager and since that lady took over the spirit is bad, no it's terrible. The manager is very unfriendly and it seems that she changed the whole atmosphere of this branch. Some great bankers left due to the new circumstances, others are afraid of having small talk as she is always observing everyone. I will move on to a different branch as I don't feel being welcomed there anymore. I think it was a bad management decision to put someone in place changing tye best Wells Fargo branch in the state into a place I'm now avoiding to go.
