I have loved this place for over 20 years! Their chili rellanos are the best we've ever been able to find. It's a must go! Please support them!!

I call this superb place often because I like the good air that is characterizes this place. The crew is highly loving and well trained. The service is awfully fast. Most important, the food you get is magnificent. I came more than once and I was always happy. The expense is decent. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

I would be more than happy to give it zero stars. Our group was thrown in the very back corner and ignored. We had to go to the counter just to ask for water. Half our party had no silverware. The food was sub par. Considering the plates were scalding hot and the food wasn’t even cooked. Ask for a manager only for her to be our server. She was terrible. Her attitude was beyond ridiculous and she proceeded to run to the kitchen and scream in Spanish about how horrible we were for complaining. Side note just because we are white doesn’t mean we don’t understand Spanish. She don’t scream it so the whole restaurant can hear it. We will NEVER return here. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We frequently order take-out from La Fonda and appreciate the kind, quick service, great food and flexibility! I highly recommend the carnitas—which we get as a plate — delicious and large portion, enough for leftovers. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that, even though my husband and I both despise sour cream and always ask to have it left off, about 50% of the time, it still ends up in our meal, tainting the other delicious contents! It clearly has not deterred us from ordering again—just sometimes a bit frustrating.
