I feel very lucky to have found Blue Sky Plumbing. In fact, they were recommended to me by another plumbing company. Total professionals from start to finish. With the need for a new boiler I found myself lost when it came to finding help and guidance. Blue Sky gave me many options to choose from. The job was a success from start to finish. The technicians who came were well prepared, and very respectful of my home. I will not have a problem recommending or using them again.

Update: We've been a Blue Sky customer since 2014. They installed the furnace in our home before we bought it and so we stuck with them. For the most part, we've been happy with their work. See my original review below about some great service we got from them. But, I have to change my review because of one very frustrating experience.nnWe need a new water heater, so I called them to find out what their typical cost range is for this work, just a ball-park to see if they're in the range of our budget. They refuse to give me any idea of their typical costs without sending out a service estimator, but that will cost $60 if we don't go ahead and hire them. We already pay for their annual service agreement which does come with perks, but apparently a free estimate isn't one of them. It should be. The person who answers their phones and schedules service absolutely refused to even try to find out what they charge for the water heater itself regardless of the possible complexity of installation. She even tried to keep me from talking to anyone else about it. I'm not interested in wagering $60 on if I'll be happy with an estimate or not. I had to be way more persistent than a current customer should have to be. Finally I got to talk to a service manager who reluctantly told me that their typical gas water heater replacement charges are around $2,000 to $4,000. I quickly cancelled the estimator.nnThis isn't the first time their receptionist did me wrong. The first time was when they came out to perform a warranty repair on my furnace. She told me that their labor would be covered by the manufacturer warranty, but when they came out and did the work, they charged me and said she shouldn't have told me that. They really should have stood by their word, even if their employee misrepresented them. It isn't the customer's fault.nnAgain, usually great service, but with some very unnecessary frustration regarding their office employees.nnOriginal review:nnKris came out to service our furnace today. It was due for preventative maintenance anyway but the blower motor was also making a rattling noise. Kris removed the motor for inspection and was able to knock some small debris out of it. Before firing the unit back up Kris cleaned and inspected the works. Once it was all back together, everything worked perfectly and no more noise! Kris was professional and very friendly. He took the time to explain what he was doing, answered all my questions, and have advice for our system. I've been using Blue Sky for years and this kind of excellent service is why.

**Updated 10/1/2020**nnIt took the fourth visit to resolve our issue. We never had a problem with customer service, response to our calls, or long wait times for service. I still feel this could have been resolved in 1 or 2 visits, but our boiler works now. Our technician has been helpful and detailed.nnWe have had Blue Sky out to our house twice now. Our boiler would not stay on after a single heat cycle. After two visits we have the same issue. I'll be happy to update this review once the problem is solved, but I don't think it should take three visits. I will say that the actually answer their phone, come out when they say they will and and explain things well.

Mr.Rickert (Wes) was very courteous , friendly, professional. Adjusted hydronic boiler unit to factory specs, and explained all specs and adjusted parameters with visual and printed record of what was done.nBoiler sounds way better after the burner adjustments Wes performed.nThanks Wes for the great job!nThanks also to the office for going the extra mile for copies of the job documentation! Other businesses would not have bothered.

Blue Sky was awesome from the beginning. They have been nothing but professional, responsive, and thorough. They got to me quickly on initial service, and then walked me through the steps of price-quoting and product installation when it was determined we needed to upgrade some equipment. They took care of everything and were extremely helpful. Will definitely use them moving forward!
