This lovely little shop is chock full of beautiful quality pieces that are timeless and well-made. I always find something I love here. But the best part of my experience at Dona Forta is by far their customer service. I’ve never had a more friendly and helpful shopping foray. I had a snafu with one of the items I purchased here, and not only did Liana, the store owner, make it right, but she more than compensated me for the issue and hand delivered a replacement. I read a little quip the other day that said, “stay close to people who feel like sunshine”. This place, and Liana in particular, is a little slice of sunshine. I will be returning here again and again.

I am so happy this lovely store is open! It's very important to me to know where my clothes are being made, what they're made of, and who's doing the making. Dona Forta is a godsend because the owner is stocking brands that answer all these questions (and then some). The clothing is stylish and very comfortable -- everything I tried on felt like a dream. The owner was so friendly and easy to talk to. I will be back.

I love to shop boutiques, so when I heard about Dona Forta opening, I was excited to check it out and it did not disappoint! The yellow exterior draws you in and that same warmth is felt when you walk in. The owner was working at the time and it didn't feel like shopping, but rather hanging out with a best friend. She pulled so many great pieces for me to try on and I was torn at the end having to decide on just one! I ended up getting a beautiful top by Emerson Fry that's perfect for the Spring/Summer when you need something breezy and light. I get many compliments when I wear it! Overall, great experience and I can't wait to visit again!

I visited Dona Forta just after it opened - a new great shop in the hood! - and had a delightful experience. The store is adorably small, but feels so warm and big with lots of options - clothes, accessories and jewelry. The lady working was immediately helpful and we chatted about the beginnings of this retail venture for her. I found a slimming cropped linen top that can be dressed up or down and I will for sure be going back! Thanks DF!
