This place was amazing, before this we stayed at 7 other places. By far the cleanest to the point where my allergies not once acted up. Their housekeeper is doing an amazing job and I hope they tell her that she is.nThe owners are so nice and welcoming, giving us suggestions and making sure we were taken care of. On our last day we didn't know if breakfast was included since you pick what you want the night before, so before we left the owner and cook made sure we knew that breakfast was still included they made something super fast and super tasty. It was a banana bread French toast with some eggs and bacon which my partner and I shared.nWe stayed in the Valentine room which had shower and bathtub right in the room and the toilet was behind a door which was great, I always wanted to have a room with a jetted tub.nThe house it self was old but very beautifully preserved, yes the floors creaked and at times you can hear the chit chats from downstairs due to tea time which I honestly loved. Almost felt like it brought life to the house. This place was so different and unique and the owners and people who work under them are doing such an amazing job at making it the perfect stay for those who are looking for something different. Would definitely come back the next time I'm in denver!nnPlease keep up the good work!
Beautiful architecture, wonderful service, superb food, and rich human and geographical history. We stayed in the Colorado Room which was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The accommodations (specifically the bathroom/shower) are on the small side, but more than adequate.nnWhat made this an outstanding stay was the service and rich history provided by the staff. Joel spoke with us about the home's history and regional architecture while we enjoyed a delectable meal of banana bread french toast / trout and eggs.nnSupport a beautiful, unique and local bed and breakfast. The location is beautiful, the neighborhood is full of architectural history, the staff are top notch, and the food is exquisite.
We had our wedding here in October 2020. The staff is so wonderful and attentive. Erin gave us wonderful guidance and made planning so easy. Joel was wonderfully attentive and helpful. Sheila makes wonderful food and everyone was super satisfied. We highly recommend!!
A place that makes you want to linger a little bit longer. Elaine and Joel make you feel right at home every time you go, which is why we keep returning every time we can. With the pandemic your money becomes a vote for which places will be around when the dust settles. My vote will be for them every time!nnWe went for tea to celebrate a birthday on 7/19. Joel greeted us and led us to our table. Joel didn't take off his mask and stayed physically distanced from us throughout our visit. We wore our masks until we sat down and then put them on once we stood up to leave. This was our first time eating at an establishment since stuff closed down in March, and I felt secure and safe because they followed the COVID safety guidelines. We were also the only ones in the mansion (except for a couple that checked into the hotel, and if there were hotel staff we didn't see).nnThe tea, sandwiches, and sweets were very tasty and Joel said that just about everything was made in house except for the bread.nnThey now have Friday tapas and brunch by reservation, so we will be back to enjoy those events in the near future. If you're reading this review I would also like to encourage you to go pay a visit to them if it's your first time or a return trip. Every bit of business counts during this time.
Best place to have a baby shower, beautiful graden and old home,Has an old charm to it. The staff were friendly from helping me plan my shower to the actual day.nI didn't have to lift a finger at my shower and got to actually enjoy myself. The food was amazing and made fresh. My family and I loved everything.nFrom the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!
