The Electric Way

The Electric Way did a great job installing light fixtures in my kitchen and family room. They were friendly and very careful about making sure everything was installed in the way I wanted it. They marked the ceilings to confirm the locations of the recessed lighting with me before cutting holes. They gave me very useful advice to get the best light quality. They were quick, so the cost was less than the estimate, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this company.

The Electric Way is quite amazing from start to finish. They responded quickly from my original inquiry, and their confirmation process was appreciated.nnI was working with another electric company who charged almost $200 just for a quote. They also wanted to send me proposals of getting new light fixtures. I felt weird about this and reached out to get another quote. I am glad I did. The Electric Way provided a cost estimate before beginning the work after they assessed the work needed to be done, they were able to fix my existing light fixtures, and also handled a side general repair. Their technicians were a delight to work with, so positive and professional. I truly enjoyed it and will definitely be working with them again. Highly recommended!!

WOW!!! No need to look any further for an electrical contractor. I had an electrical issue with an outlet plug on my wall that had a loose connection and burned (literally) the outlet plug, wiring, and junction box inside of my wall. I had called 3 different companies to provide an assessment of the situation and provide a quote for repair. The Electric Way was the most responsive (by far), and the first of any of them to be able to show up to my residence. For starters, a nice, clean, user friendly website (+1). Next, a helpful and kind live person (Natalie) fielding phone calls, arranging appointments and dispatching technicians, and making things happen (+1). Text confirmation with appointment date and time received immediately following phone call (+1). Technician called in advance of appointment time, and I received an auto generated text message notifying my that my technician was en route (+1). Electrician and business owner David arrived on time. Took great care entering my residence covering feet with booties so as not to track anything onto my carpet. He assessed the problem and determined it to be a loose wire and replaced not only the outlet plug, but the damaged wiring, and junction box. He was very careful not to damage the finish on the wall and did an excellent repair. He even wanted to maximize the value of the service call and inspected breaker panel and additional outlets in the house (+1). David is a very personable, down to earth guy and small business owner that takes great pride in his business and workmanship. If you are looking for any electrical work, I can assure you there is no need to look any further. They are in the process of doing all the electrical work on my kitchen remodel. And I asked them to help me sort out the electrical switches in my house. I have been living here since 1993 with this problem. It is a nightmare. There are mixed up electrical outlets, 3 way switches and ones that I did not know where they went to? They got them all sorted out and found a very dangerous one that turned on an open wire in my downstairs utility room.nnThis is a family owned company. When the storm came in and they couldn't come on Monday they sent out a full crew on Tuesday to get the work done. Their price is reasonable. They are thorough and courteous. They let me know every step of the way and gave good advice on the future planning for the kitchen. I highly recommend them.

Great company that is very ethical and actually takes the time to tell you how they are doing the work and why. Their quote was actually a little bit more than than a couple other quotes I received for adding LED can lights in the ceiling, a dedicated electrical line for an over-the-range microwave, and a spot for a bathroom fan. HOWEVER, because they were efficient and finished the job quicker than planned, it actually ended up being cheaper than quoted. Regardless, I had no problem agreeing to what was quoted because I could tell that they knew what they were talking about. I really appreciated that they went over everything with me during the estimate to explain the costs and what all was involved to arrive at the number quoted.
