This establishment just lost a minimum of 1k in business from me over the course of the next year. The reason, I'm done being treated like a thief by some establishments. I transport myself either on foot or on bike, this means I wear a backpack. Most places don't care but some want to take the standpoint of treating every customer as a thief or potential thief... This is not how you do business especially in America. I was told that I have to leave my backpack with them as I do my shopping, everything is going in my bag in the end and I told them they were welcome to look in it when I returned to the counter and see it was empty before I put my purchases in it... They didn't care. Meanwhile, women are allowed to walk around the store with large purses and aren't asked to turn over their bags. Family Dollar you will get no more money or support from me. I will be filing a report with your corporate office as well.

I give it three stars cuz while it's a nice store where we shop periodically ITS ALSO EXPENSIVE for a dollar store. For a dollar general store, the prices on most of their items seems high and almost unreasonable, but it makes up for it by being a nice store but don't expect to go in an spend just a couple dollars, because as I stated their prices are way high for a dollar general.

Great place to shop! Amazing the number of items you can find for one dollar or just a bit more. It's a godsend for retired people especially, living on a fixed income in a world with ever-increasing prices on everything, not just food. With the uncertain world of coronavirus, Family Dollar provides a light at the end of a dark tunnel in terms of needed supplies.

The staff is very courteous. And follow the required law of wearing mask inside the store. Very appreciative that your staff cares and makes people follow the law.
