I opened a checking account and moved direct deposit over to receive a bonus they were promoting with a direct mail piece.nnIssues I ran into:nn1. They sent the wrong account number for direct deposit so when payday came the funds did not come into my accountnn2. Never received a debit card for the accountnn3. The fine print on the promotion said no service fee would be applied if certain conditions were met. I met all conditions but they still automatically charged a $10 fee every monthnn4. Bank took the bonus back when I requested to close the account and transfer money out even though I met all requirementsnn5. The account had a monthly transfer limit to external accounts which prevented me from moving funds easilynnOverall, Citywide does not follow through on their promotional promises, abuses the customer and their money, and has a poor product and service strategy.
