I went to Westerra for a possible mortgage. I already had something in mind. I worked with Joy Mantelli. Not only did she listen, really hear what I was needing. but then came up with a great solution. I would not have thought of this possibility and it worked excellently for what I needed. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a number of years. Joy was a great mortgage partner. I highly recommend Joy!

We have worked with Joy Mantelli since we bought our home in 2006, and twice when we refinanced. Over the years, she has maintained a level of professionalism, care and compassion for her job, for my husband and I, and any family/ friends we referred to her. Her name matches her spirit! Westerra has great rates. The customer service on the other hand needs some looking into. I sold my car, which Westerra was the lien holder, to a car dealership October 1st. Westerra failed to send the title release to the buying dealership until this morning October 29th after days and days of hassle over the phone...in the end the balance and check for the sale to me is further delayed. The process of selling my own vehicle and getting a check to move on should never take this long.

I have been a member of Westerra nearly my whole life. I've always enjoyed their service for personal banking, so my partner and I decided to choose Westerra for our first home loan, as well. We would highly recommend Westerra's mortgage service. They had the lowest rates and fees of all the companies we compared, and it was important to us to support a local, community-focused organization. We worked with Joy Mantelli, who we would highly recommend! Joy was friendly, easy to communicate with, and took the time to help answer all our questions about the process. She went above and beyond to help us with a fast closing process, and we felt confident knowing that Joy was organized and making sure everything moved along smoothly. We love our home and consider ourselves very lucky to have Joy and Westerra on our team!

Recently did a refi with Westerra and it was the easiest process of any home loan I ever applied for. Kudos to Eric G who made the process easy and painless. Unlike other home loans I've done with other institutions, Westerra did not make me give them the same info multiple times which I find very frustrating. Eric kept me informed of the status of the loan application from beginning to the end. He was always available if I needed to ask questions and always responded immediately. Additionally, the rate at Westerra could not be beat! Thank you!
