A glorified sweat shop. All fulfillment centers and warehouses should be under investigation and examined. Too many hours only to get paid with a cup of coffee pretty much. It’s a shame how people are still treated like this. SMH!
Yeah, I plan on staying there for a good long time. No plans to go anywhere else at anytime. We'll, as long as management can tolerate me.
Nice place. First Amazon I've visited where you actually have to pay for hot chocolate so that kinda sucks. Overall good experience here.
I worked at Amazon Fullfillment Center for almost 1. I was among the top performers, the entirety of my employment. Well in July of last year, I got the soul crushing news that my 1 year old daughter has leukemia. Amazon only gave me one month off and I was fired. My daughter's social worker talked to them, my daughter's Oncolor spoke to them about it, and yet I was fired for not going to work. My daughter spent over 2 months hooked up to the machines, numerous inpatient hospital stays and today, I reapplied and they said I'm ineligible bc of the reason I was terminated. So is your child getting cancer a reason Amazon won't rehire
This place is great. Lots to do. Lots of people to see and meet. I wonder, does this place do a Christmas party anywhere???
