I trained at a few different gyms in Ohio before I moved to Colorado, so I had a good feel for what kind of gym I liked before I went searching for a new place to train. After my first day at Rocky Mountain Jiu-Jitsu I didn't even bother testing out any other gyms. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is friendly and fun to train with, and coach Dave is incredibly knowledgeable. My game has grown leaps and bounds since I've been here. Anyone with a passing interest in Jiu-Jitsu needs to come here.

First time in this gym. Environment is stellar, the coach is super funny and describes things in a way that helps the concepts stick. He knows when to not give feedback so you can work some stuff out, he knows when to over the top yell for encouragement and positive cheering, he knows when to give detailed critique so you can improve. Great coach, great environment, great dudes.

Been to quite a few gyms over the years and RMJJ is one of my favorites. Friendly and very knowledgeable for all skill levels.

I work on the road, getting to train various places wherever I go, and got to train here (BJJ) for around six weeks when I was working in Denver last year. This is by far one of the better places I've trained at. The atmosphere is great and Professor Dave is the real deal. The way in which techniques are taught here is very different than most places I've trained at. Very detail oriented and the effectiveness shows during rolls. If you're looking for a place that teaches the 'invisible' aspects of the art you've found it. Highly recommended!

Professor Dave is truly one of the great teachers of this art. He broke down some extremely complicated movements into simple steps and gave sufficient time to practice them. Extremely welcoming and friendly environment. I will be back whenever I am in town.
