I recently joined ChuzeFitness as I was hoping to gain confidence in myself. I didn’t think it was necessary to write a review but after this still weighing on me for almost a whole day I felt it needed to be shared. With yesterdays workout, i left very uncomfortable and upset. While on the treadmill one of the employees, what felt like yelled at me to put my mask over my nose to which i replied “of course, I’m so sorry” not many people were in the room i was in yet it was still uncomfortable to feel called out in front of people as if i didn’t already feel uncomfortable being new to the gym. I watched other people walk in with their masks below their nose including one of the team members. As uncomfortable as i already was i continued to try to finish my workout when one of their employees came in and over the walkie talkies she had said “I already talked to her about her mask once”. To already have no confidence and have employees watching me as if they are hoping to catch me doing something wrong. If anyone goes to the gym they know how uncomfortable it is to be watched and to have multiple people come into the room to “check” on them is almost insulting. I understand that wearing a mask in these times is necessary and I have no problem wearing one everyday. I just don’t think it’s right to be yelled at and watched so intensely. I didn’t even get to finish my workout due to how uncomfortable it was. It honestly doesn’t make me feel accepted to come back to this facility

Options presented today:nn1. Cancel membership. Lose 50 dollars plus the monthly charge of 22 dollars.nn2. Suspend account for 30 days, no charge.nn3. Use membership.nnUnfortunately, number three is off the table for me as I have high risk family members, so I am left with options 1 and 2.nnIt seems as if people forget about it, so let me remind you, we are currently still in a global pandemic. When there is roughly 20-30 people in the building with only one other customer wearing a mask besides myself (excluding employees), I don’t really see how option 2 would be viable.nnAnyway, I chose option 1. You also don’t have an option to cancel online. When you want to cancel remotely, they don’t send you paper work to fill out, but rather a flat text email drafted by an employee just requesting information that is not elaborated on.nnPlease use the money you are selfishly taking from individuals who cannot use their membership for process improvement, and health and safety for your current customers.

How is the hot tub safe to use but the steam room and saunas are not? I'll gladly return with 5 stars whenever the spa is fully functional again.

Nice place with helpful and friendly staff.. was invited to use a free 1 day pass and i enjoyed it so i will join and go regularly
