I recently received a job offer that required me and my family to relocate. The offer was contingent upon my being available to start extremely quickly. I was fearful that we would not be able to get all of our affairs in order quickly enough for all of us to move together; that I would have to leave my family behind to deal with all the hassles of the move.nnA colleague of mine recommended National Moving Systems, saying that when he had an unexpected and urgent move, they were able to make it happen. I was skeptical, but I took his advice. And I am so glad that I did!nnThanks to these fine folks, I really did not have to worry about much of anything regarding the moving process. They sent out a crew of people who took care of everything. Packing, disassembling, the works! And they were able to schedule all of this in the short window of time that I gave them. Because we did not have to worry about all of these details, my wife, my son and I were able to remain together! They were a Godsend! I would highly recommend these folks to anyone!

I moved with National Moving Systems and I have to say that it was the most smooth move I have had, and I have moved many times in my life. The people I spoke with on the phone provided good customer service and were able to answer all my questions. When move day came, the truck showed up in the time frame that I was given. I felt the guy were professional and appreciated the way that they handled my stuff. My items all made it without any damages, which you never know when you move long distance. When I started unpacking everything I was so impressed by the way everything was wrapped and packed that I see why everything made it there in one piece! All in all I was very satisfied with my move and would recommend them to anyone.

National moving systems made our move hassle free and very affordable compared to other household names. The representative asked if I can post a review if they delivered and they sure did. I must say, I'm surprised by the recent reviews but I would recommend their services going forward. We moved from Washington back to Massachusetts where I was raised to retire and my wife along with my kids knows what's it's like relocating 6 times over the last 10 years for work. The only issue I had was that they didn't call me 24hrs in advance for delivery as requested but overall they did an excellent job on both ends. I hope this review serves well, we will refer and use your services for future endeavors.

I hired this company and have lived to regret it. They are unscrupulous and crooked. They are the type of people that give all movers a bad name. Sean was the one who set up the move with me, and promised that I would be able to do the move for this much money and this has since tripled. Read all of the bad reviews and take them seriously. I am a month out from pick up and still do not have my household goods. I am on a personal crusade to take this company down. Don't use them.

Horrible experience. They changed prices on me three times. The movers smoked marijuana in front of my home while picking up and the smoke went through my home. Additionally, they never delivered my items. Instead, they dropped them off 15 miles from my new homes location and then called me to pick it up. The problem was, they would not give me the location until I paid the remainder of the contract, EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER DELIVERED MY THINGS!!! I would never recommend them for anything. Be very afraid of this company. Additionally know that they use other names besides just Downing. They also use the name Golden Valley Van Lines which is out of California, even though they represent that they are from IN. The dispatch personnel is located in Denver. They also use the Name National Moving System our of Woodland Hills CA. I have actually called the police to get involved since they have basically committed theft and contract fraud crossing state lines. You are nuts if you use this company. Be warned.
