SAC RIVER GUIDE Pro Guide Kirk Portocarrero

I’ve been fishing with Kirk since high school. My dad used to take me, and now I take my family. A few weeks ago I took my sister-in-law, father-in-law, and 12 year old twin nephews. We all caught salmon and steelhead trout. The boys say it was the best day of their lives. ☺ufe0fnI can’t wait to go back and continue this family tradition.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kirk and jumping aboard his really awesome boat . It was truly an amazing experience getting to fish along side the best ! Kirk really knows the river well and can take you to the right spot at the right time . Not only did I enjoy fishing with him , but I learn so much about salmon fishing that I didn’t know before. If you ever get the chance to book a trip with him , I HIGHLY recommend it . I will definitely be fishing with him again soon . Thank you for the trip of a lifetime Kirk !

Kirk is the best. He makes you feel like you’re fishing with an ol’ buddy right away—and his professionalism, expertise and efficiency getting you in the water and pulling in a bunch of (big) fish made every moment priceless for me and my family (and especially my kids). We’ll be back.

Kirk was very knowledgable about fishing the Sacramento River and the surrounding areas. Cant go wrong with using this guide. We landed a few trophies!
