Another wonderful park in Arcata! Tucked away in a neighborhood off main roads. Has a great playground, picnic tables and benches. Nice big grassy area, climbing trees and basketball ball hoop.
Park is okay, better for younger kids. No bathroom, but that seems like an Arcata thing. It does have a drinking fountain, both for people and K-9. Weird random basketball hoop in the middle of grass field.
They have a basketball court, I like it because there's never meny people there.
Kids love the roller slide and ample climbing opportunities. Be aware there are no public restrooms. We spent a good 2 hours here.
Landscaping needs to be done. Poor maintenance on park. Visitors bringing dog should respect that children play on grass so maintain dog droppings.
