Growing up in Humboldt country this park was always a part of my childhood. It's as beautiful today as it was so many years ago. The fact I played at the park, my children played at this park, and my grandchildren will as well is amazing. Definitely a wonderful place for gatherings or just an afternoon of fun.
This whole park is absolutely awe inspiring! I definitely recommend it! It’s worth the detour off of 101. I promise ;)

Great park when it is open. The trails are amazing. You walk through the redwoods! It's so quite and serene. I really enjoy this walk!
