Liberty Lake Regional Park Camp Ground

This is a beautiful park and camp ground and it's one of my favorite hiking places. The two dollar charge for day use seems a little high, especially once swimming season is over. During the winter park use is free and admittedly I use it more during that time of year. Despite the economics this is an awesome gem of the Spokane valley area, and we'll worth a visit.

Rv spots are gravel, fairly level, but a bit narrow. Bathrooms have been modified for social distancing. Good water pressure and clean. Lots of trees and wildlife. Swimming and play area about .25 mile walk. Wood and ice available to purchase onsite. Camp hosts very nice.

We camped one night with our RV. The sites were narrow. Ours was acceptable. That area is about a half mile to the lake front. The camping area is grassy and shady.

Can't really find a better car camping campground for a family with young kids: clean bathrooms with showers, sinks for dish cleaning, shaded with large trees, beach, open grassy areas for playing. Only bummer was no recycling bins.

A bit tight for large RV's. Good amount of trees. Fine place to hide from the ex girlfriend or wife.
