Small, but has a good variety of machines. Staff is very friendly, during this COVID they are very tentative to the regulations, open outdoors only now but still do spray downs with the big backpack sprayer. Good nice place to still get your workout in.
First time back since COVID began in March. We worked out in the parking lot, which is fenced off. Plenty of equipment. A bit dusty being next to the freeway. Plenty of shade and only 8 people working out. On the down side, only one member cleaned their equipment when they were done. So I advise to preclean before you workout.
I was told upon entering the gym that we needed to wear masks at all times, regardless of what activities we were doing inside the gym. This is not a problem, considering they are being vigilant about precautionary measures against COVID-19.nnTwo guys in the weight area were not wearing masks. A staff member cleaning equipment walked past them a few times without saying anything to them about the mask rule. At one point, he was cleaning the machine directly next to them and still said nothing. I notified the front desk and waited about 5 minutes. Nothing was done. As I was heading out, the front desk staff asked me whether or not they had put masks on yet.nnI was a little flabbergasted. Isn't this something that should have been adressed at the time she was notified? Also, the staff member cleaning next to the guys should have said something since he could see them clearly.nnI really like the layout and location of the gym. I enjoy coming here. I didn't feel particularly comfortable with the situation I experienced today. They seemed so proactive at the front desk but did not do enough on the floor, where most of the members are.
Always friendly and helpful the staff and instructors. And you can easily make new friends with other people in classes!
This gym is very quaint and personable. The towels and coffee are lovely amenities. The gym is clean and the staff are friendly. I love the yoga classes as the instructors are very good. I was a member for over a year before I actually started using my membership. Now I faithfully go no less than four days per week and what a difference it has made in my life.
