It is a great place. Darrel is good to work with and Penny did a great job make the airport what it is today. I'm not a pilot but I am a farmer and have been blessed with the job of farming the hay in the infield. Love watching the airplanes come and go and the auto racing as well. The model airplane pilots are bunch of really nice people.nThank you for making this community great.nThe Farmer
Great little airport. Cheaper gas. Not to busy for a beginner to practice. No tower.
An absolutely beautiful airport with a really cool history. Some of the most amazing planes I’ve ever seen have been at this airport, including an extremely rare Mooney M-10. There is even a Dassault Falcon 900EX triple engine private jet that is kept in a pristine hangar with 2 helicopters and a Cessna 172.
Great airport. Burrows Aviation is the best maintenance for GA airplanes in the Spokane/ Couer d Alene area. Matt Burrows best aircraft mechanic around.
Deer park Airport is A great small town airport. It is uncontrolled but has a lot of activity. The staff is very friendly and the airport has a great FBO, Deer Park Air center. You can hanger your plane in their heated hangers or take lessons in an array of single engine planes ranging from basic to complex. Matt Brown and Darold Schultz are great instructors with years of experience. I highly Recommend learning to fly here.
