One of the Best camps ever! Coaching Staff is great and very upbeat and humble. Kari Louthan is easily one of the best camp directors I have ever been around and I personally have coached and run my own camps. Scott the Head Gymnastics Coach is first class. The camp is a grind but yet they make it fun. The girls love it. This was the first year both my girls did the over night experience. Just a first class job. They really care as well because they make the coaches do a goal and evaluation sheet for the girls. It's not an easy camp by any means but it sure is fun if you are a gym rat and love gymnastics beyond! A couple negatives of the camp. One my girls made some friends of course so I believe it would be really neat if there was a way the camp could implement a social media pen pal situation so the girls could stay in touch if they made friends. Two, the food could be better. However with that said all camps are like this and its tough to get kids to eat at camps for many reasons. I as a parent loved the food as I tried it. However it's not fair for me to judge because I have always loved cafeteria and my College food as I was given a soccer scholarship and lived in the dorms all 4 years. So for me as a guy I will pretty much eat anything. With my girls and I have noticed with most kids these days it's very difficult to get them to eat cafeteria food. Just an overall unbelievable Camp and I have taken my girls the last two years to ASU, UofA, UCLA, SUU, ASU, SUU and then Woodward in Pennsylvania coming next month. So my girls are pretty Camp seasoned now. Out of all the camps though I have never seen my oldest cry as we left. I asked her why and if she was homesick. She said no it was because she made a friend during the week and she missed her already! That was a tough pill to swallow because what do you do and say as a parent? I was hear broken for her. Thank you SUU for another wonderful year of Camp! Dion , Breilyn, Keely
